" Very happy with item how every the electrical diagrams for installation are not easy to understand I have step working but still do not know what the blue and brown wire are for and where they get connected. It took me a while to work out that the red and black wires are for up and down function. If you could explain the blue and brown wiring it would be greatly appreciated. "

" Have used these units on 12v portable fridges. Due to living 'on the road', having a second fridge is sensible. Usually run the 2nd fridge on 12v care of solar. When on power, then I use this type of power source. Last one went on holiday, ordered the replacment, made adjustment, now in use. First improvement I noticed was the fan which cools the power unit inside. Good idea, especially in our climate, will add to a longer life. Even if you arrange the unit so it has proper air flow, the fan will help. Air flow to cool the electronics is a must. The only issue I have had in the past is the cigarette lighter attachment. Because I rely on this to deliver the power supply to the fridge, in warm/hot weather this connection becomes very warm. Thereby affecting the power delivery, resulting in loss of fridge operation. To correct this, cut the connector off, making sure it is not plugged into 240v first. Attach a Anderson plug to the power supply, also the fridge power cord. Making an easy c "
